PARENT CONSULTATIONS
 

Parenting is said to be the hardest job there is. Parenting children with OCD and/or anxiety disorders can be particularly challenging. Whereas most parents I work with are the parents of my patients, I also offer consultation for parents whose children are not receiving therapy at this time. I assist parents by providing in depth education regarding OCD and anxiety disorders, discuss parenting strategies specific to OCD and anxiety, and assist in the creation and implementation of specific at home interventions to best support their family's needs and achieve their unique goals. 

SCHOOL CONSULTATIONS

I work with schools to ensure that staff are best meeting the unique academic, social, and emotional needs of students. This is often done after completion of a psychoeducational assessment, during which I gain information regarding a child's functioning and how they best learn.
